What a beautiful day! We got married - for the third time. Feb 13th, 2004 at SF City Hall (reversed in aug 04), Aug. 19th, 2004 with our families and then again, legally - TODAY!
AND - as it turns out, our marriage will stand regardless of the Prop 8 vote - the way the deputy explained it to us this morning is that they changed the form when the supreme court over-ruled the ban on same-sex marriage - so the marriage license form now reads party A and party B... there is little way for them to tell the gender of Party A and Party B by 'name' alone - and therefore will not go back and dissect each application since these marriages were absolutely legal during at the time of contract under California law!!!
So - we're married! Done deal!! Ha Ha, haters!!
